If you are not familiar with the Oakwood district in Raleigh this is one time that you will want to explore it!  Oakwood is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is an extraoridnary neighborhood.  This 20 block area offers stunning examples of Victorian architecture with beautifully landscaped lawns and tree-lined streets. 

For 2 days during the Holidays you can take either a self-guided walking tour or driving tour.  Residents have graciously opened their homes during this time to share in the Holiday spirit!
